Work orders

A work order with the whole context.

Connect a job to its asset, finding, procedure, parts, and field evidence. Use the completed work to improve the next decision.

§ 01

Why the last two stages matter most.

Almost every maintenance system can raise a job and close it. Very few can tell you whether the repair actually worked, because they never see the machine again afterwards.

TwinEdge does. It knows what the readings looked like before, so it can check whether they came back to normal after. A job closed on a machine that is still running badly does not quietly disappear.

“Not ‘did somebody close the job’, but ‘did the machine get better’.”

The test of a maintenance system

§ 02

What comes with it.

Everything below exists to remove a phone call, a spreadsheet, or a retyped number.

  • 01Raised by the machine

When vibration, temperature, or efficiency crosses a line you set, the job is drafted for a planner to look at. Nobody has to be watching a screen at the time.

  • 02Sent to somebody who can do it

Matched on tickets held, experience with that equipment, and how much work they already have this week.

  • 03Response times you can hold people to

Set how quickly each priority must be answered and finished. When a deadline gets close it escalates on its own.

  • 04A record nobody can quietly edit

Every status change, reassignment, and field note is stamped and kept. That is what makes it evidence rather than a to-do list.

  • 05The procedure travels with the job

Standard method, safety checks, and isolation steps are attached to the work order, so the right way is the easy way.

  • 06Parts come off the shelf count

What was used is deducted, and when stock drops below its minimum the reorder goes to purchasing.

Stop chasing paper work orders.

Bring a job your team ran last month. We will show it as it would have looked here: how it would have been noticed, what would have been attached to it, who it would have gone to, and whether the machine actually recovered.
